Align Center for Workforce Development Announces New Executive Director

Adrian, MI — The Align Center for Workforce Development is proud to announce the appointment of Ronnie Giles, Jr. as its new Executive Director, effective September 1, 2025.

Mr. Giles has served as the Align Center’s Business Development Manager since June 2025, bringing strategic insight and a deep commitment to workforce advancement. In his new role, he will oversee the overall operations of the Align Center, leading a team of professionals and partners to deliver exceptional training programs and drive financial sustainability. He will report directly to the Align Center’s Board of Directors.

Ronnie holds a Master of Accountancy from Bowling Green State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Siena Heights University. His career includes leadership roles in higher education and finance, having served as Director of Development at Siena Heights University, Assistant Director of Philanthropy in Athletics at Albion College, and as a member of the tax staff at Rehmann in Jackson, Michigan.

A resident of Adrian, Michigan, Ronnie is married and the proud father of three children. His appointment reflects the Align Center’s continued investment in local leadership and its mission to empower individuals through education, training, and opportunity.

Ronnie succeeds H. Ron Griffith, who has served as Interim Executive Director since June 2024. Mr. Griffith, former President of Baker College and most recently Assistant to the President at Spring Arbor University, played a pivotal role in the renovation and launch of the Center’s new facility on Church Street in Adrian. The Align Center extends its deepest gratitude to Mr. Griffith for his dedicated service and visionary leadership during a transformative period.

The Align Center looks forward to a new chapter under Ronnie Giles, Jr.’s leadership, marked by innovation, collaboration, and a steadfast commitment to workforce development.
