Course Overview
This rigorous Flooring curriculum prepares learners for a career as skilled flooring technicians. It covers basic installation skills for Carpet, Hardwood, Tile and Resilient Flooring. Classroom training is supported by extensive hands-on instruction and real-world practice.
Coverage of measurement, surface preparation, material handling, installation techniques and other critical skills ensures learners are set up for job success.
This is a 20-week Flooring installation course.

This course will provide basic safety and health information and education training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces in the Construction Industry.
The course is intended to provide workers with awareness of common job-related safety and health hazards. Through this training, OSHA helps to ensure that workers are more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights, and contribute to our nation’s productivity. The program also provides information regarding workers’ rights, employer responsibilities and how to file a complaint.

Course Description
The 30-Hour Outreach Training Program provides basic safety and health information and education for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces in the Construction Industry.
The course is appropriate for supervisors or workers with some safety responsibility. Through this training, OSHA helps to ensure that workers are more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights. The course also provides information regarding workers’ rights, employer responsibilities and how to file a complaint.
Note:
- The Outreach Training Program is a voluntary program and it does not fulfill the training requirements found in OSHA standards.
- Employers are responsible for providing additional training for their workers on specific hazards of their job as noted in many OSHA standards.
- Although some states, municipalities or others may require outreach training as a condition of employment, it is not an OSHA requirement.
- The Outreach Training program is not considered a certification.
